Zes Stappenplan

It takes only six easy steps to create a professional newsletter in Laposta. Want to know how? Follow our roadmap and keep them posted!

Step 1: It All Starts with a Subject

Start off by filling in the basics:

  • Give a name to your campaign
  • Fill in the email address of the sender and name that you want your subscribers to see
  • Personalise the subject and preview text with emoticons. You can see how many characters these contain.

Did you know: that you can enter a different email address for replies? If your subscribers decide to reply to your newsletter, you can have these sent to a different address. That way you keep it all organised and under control.

Step 2: Choose Your Subscribers

Who do you want to receive your newsletters? You can choose from your contact lists or even sections of your contact lists. Do not worry about duplicates, because Laposta automatically removes those so that all your subscribers only receive your newsletter once.

Step 3: Choose a Template

Did you know that you can store an unlimited number of templates in your account? Choose from our ready-made templates or use one that you saved. You can also import a template or have our designers create one for you.

Step 4: Fill It with Content

With our user-friendly drag & drop editor you divide your newsletter into blocks. After that you fill it with titles, texts, images, and buttons. Add links to social media, your website, or other relevant pages.

There are several ways in which you can check the end result whilst editing:

  • Use the preview function to see what your newsletter looks like on PC, tablet, and mobile screens.
  • Send a test email and you can see how your newsletter is displayed in different email programmes.

Tip: have our designers create a type Joe template for you and you are able to place messages in your newsletter automatically via an RSS feed.

Step 5: One Final Check

It is time for a final check! This is the moment to review and adjust everything that you did during the previous steps.

During this step you can also publish your campaign even before you send it out:

  • Use the link to the web version of your newsletter, in your social medial posts, for example.
  • Create a PDF-version of your newsletter.

Step 6: It Is Time to Send

Send out your newsletter immediately or schedule this by placing it in the task bar. You receive a notification (at an email address of your choice) when your newsletter has been sent to all your subscribers.

Sit back and enjoy the results coming in. You can see live how many subscribers have received your newsletter and opened it. You can see who clicked on your links and who unsubscribed. But do not get too relaxed; it is time to start thinking about your next campaign.
